We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Women’s Football to lead our Women’s section. The successful candidate will be based within short driving distance from Wakefield UK and will have previous experience in women’s football.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee adult first team, development team and newly formed junior teams.
• Recruit players and coaching staff for the women’s team and girls’ teams.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve performance and achieve success on the pitch.
• Manage the team’s budget and finances, ensuring that resources are used effectively.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, fans, and the local community.
• Ensure that all activities are in line with the club’s values, mission, and goals.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in women’s football, ideally at a senior level.
• A passion for the game and a strong understanding of the women’s football landscape.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire players and coaching staff.
• Proven track record in team management, recruitment, and performance analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Driving license and access to a vehicle.
