Squad Strengthened With Six More Signings

We are delighted to announce that an additional six players have joined the club. Anastasis Papanastasiou, Dean Makunike, and youngster, Owen Kirman, all return to the club after having stints at the club last season. Also joining them for 2020 is Jack Sparkes, Kane Craddock and Bruno Bagi.

Anastasis ‘Tasos’ Papanastasiou returns having spent the back end of last season with the club. The Greek centre midfielder has made appearances in pre-season and is also part of our Elite Football Programme.

Also returning to the club is striker Dean Makunike. The powerful forward spent only a short time at the club before the season came to an early end, and will once again join up with the team as part of our Elite Football Programme.

The final returnee is Owen Kirman. The young left winger arrived at the club shortly before the season end and showed great promise in the few games he played. Although only 16, once back to full fitness he will be pushing for a first team spot.

Joining the club this season is winger Jack Sparkes. The 18 year old impressed in a trial period and was showing great promise in the first pre-season game against Newsome, before being forced off the field with a nasty elbow injury.

Also joining the club is 19 year old, Kane Craddock. Craddock featured early in pre-season and never looked out of place in the centre of the park.

Sparkes and Craddock spent time at Bradford Park Avenue together and will be looking to build on their already strong relationship going in to the 2020/21 season.

The final recruit of the evening is the energetic Bruno Bagi. Bagi was another trialist who impressed Lockwood on the day and has been ever-present in the friendlies, bagging himself a few goals to finish pre-season off.
