We are on the look out for players for our:
> First Team
> Youth Academy: Under 16s – Under 19s
> Development Academy: Under 7s – Under 15s
Have you recently been released from your club and looking for a new challenge? Or looking to get you career back on track and build your confidence as a player? Do you want to study alongside playing football?
We are now recruiting players, both locally and and globally, to join our First Team for the 2020/21 season.
The First Team will be competing in the Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior League Premier Division.
Think you’ve got what it takes?
For the 2020/21 season we are extending our academy and introducing teams at U16, U17, U18 and U19 level, which have a direct pathway to our First Team.
We also have an exciting opportunity for players at these ages to join our Educational Pathway, which allows players to study at BTEC or Degree Level, or take on an apprenticeship through our close parternship with Wakefield College, as well as play football. Players will train around their studies and we will support all players in applying for their studies and throughout their education.
We introduced our Development Academy at the end of 2019, which covers our Under 7s to our Under 15s. The Academy will be overseen by former Doncaster Rovers Development Coach, Shane Pallett, and it will give local footballers the chance to play football at a high-quality level and be mentored by esteemed coaches, such as former Sheffield Wednesday Goalkeeper, Chris Turner, and former Doncaster Rovers defender and new Head Coach, Adam Lockwood.
