Wakefield AFC are delighted to announce that Eyewear Opticians will be continuing their sponsorship for the next two seasons. The Chapel Allerton-based opticians will feature on the front of all home and away shirts!
Eyewear Opticians opened last year following the successful growth of it’s sister company Selbie Opticians and has continued to flourish, even during the pandemic.
We can also announce that Kelly Plahay, Owner of Eyewear Opticians, has pledged her support to our new membership scheme, offering all of our members a 20% discount at both clinics!
Plahay commented: “I’m really happy to be continuing our partnership with Wakefield AFC. I am fully committed to supporting the club and envisage a long term partnership between us and the football club.”
Commercial Manager, Adam Sweeney, added, “We’re delighted to have Kelly on board for the next 2 years. Following the pandemic and the effect it had on businesses, we gave all of our partners the option of not continuing with the original commitments, but Kelly was determined to continue being part of the club and we both see a long term partnership flourishing.”
