Wakefield AFC has made the decision to postpone all four games scheduled for tomorrow Saturday 26th September 2020 after one of our players has tested positive for Coronavirus. The unnamed player is asymptomatic and self-isolating.
The club has postponed all games to ensure the safety of all our players, staff, and our opposition. All our players have been told to self-isolate and access a COVID-19 Test if they have symptoms.
The club has informed their most recent opponents, Jubilee Sports FC, who they played last Saturday 19th September.
Subject to testing, we expect training to resume next Thursday 1st October, and the home game against Oughtibridge WMFC is still expected to go ahead as planned on Saturday 3rd October.

Wakefield AFC vs Houghton Main FC (A)
The postponed games will be rearranged by the County Senior League with the new dates being announced in due course.
