ANDY’S MAN CLUB

WAKEFIELD AFC is delighted to announce a partnership with Andy’s Man Club, which will see their
volunteers promoting the charity at specially selected fixtures this season. Andy’s Man Club have
recently forged a partnership with Wakefield Trinity and are now holding their Monday evening
groups (7pm except bank holidays) at the Be Well Support Stadium.

Andy’s Man Club was established in 2016 in the name of the late Andrew Roberts who sadly took his
own life at the age of 23. They are a men’s suicide prevention charity, which offer support groups
both online and in person across the United Kingdom. There are over 130 free support groups (over
3000 men and 1300+ volunteers) nationwide that are free to attend, and the aim is to end to the
stigma surrounding men’s mental health and assist through the power of conversation.

Anonymous Andy’s Man Club group member:

“ANDYSMANCLUB is a very relaxed atmosphere once you get settled. The hardest part is taking the
first step through the door but ask any of the guys that have done it, and they’ll tell you they’re glad
they did.”

ANDYS MAN CLUB:

“ANDYSMANCLUB are proud to have partnered with Wakefield AFC as their charity partner for the
year. This partnership will allow us to keep raising much needed awareness and spread the
message that #ITSOKAYTOTALK.

ANDYSMANCLUB’s goal is to keep reaching #THATONEMAN and to gain partnerships with clubs such
as Wakefield AFC will help us to keep banging that drum ….We can’t stop and won’t stop!“

“The first rule about ANDYSMANCLUB is it’s okay to talk at ANDYSMANCLUB.”
