Dear Featherstone Rovers community
As we approach our last game, Wakefield AFC would like to express our gratitude for the support you have provided us over the last two seasons. We have shared great memories, and we will always cherish our Step 7 title celebration last May.
We would like to clarify that Wakefield AFC’s move out of the Millennium Stadium is not a reflection on Featherstone Rovers. The stadium and infrastructure is great and it was not a factor in our decision. Instead, it is a strategic decision to play in the City of Wakefield, where we believe our club will have better opportunities for growth and development.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Martin and all the Featherstone Rovers staff for your invaluable support, and we wish you all the best in this and future seasons.
We would also like to express our gratitude to the Featherstone Rovers supporters who have come to our games, and we hope to continue to see you soon at our new venue.
Finally, we would like to invite anyone who has not yet watched us play at the Millennium Stadium to make plans to attend our last game against Rossington Main on April 1st. It will be a great event as we are pushing for a play-off spot and we would love to see you there.
Thank you again for your support and best of luck in your promotion challenge this season!
Sincerely,
WAFC Family
