Wakefield AFC U18s vs Ossett United U18s

There was an early chance for Wakefield’s player Alsharif which looked like a goal but  it was just wide of the post. Ossett came out on top 6 minutes on the clock when they took the lead to make it 1-0. Ossett added to their lead with a 2nd goal on the 10 minute mark to make it 2-0. Wakefield looked to find a way to get back into the game but their attack was cut short by the offside flag. Wakefield managed to get a free kick but Ossett managed to deal with the free kick with 16 minutes gone and still 2-0. Ossett with a long ball from the goal keeper went onto get a third goal 23 minutes on the clock and now 3-0.  Wakefield looked to up the game with a chance by Pallett but the shot went over the bar. Wakefield put pressure on with another chance that just went wide of the post- 37 minutes gone on the clock. Wakefield managed to get 1 goal back with a top bins strike from Plater- 3-1. Half Time: Wakefield 1-3 Ossett.

Second Half Underway. Wakefield got an early free kick which was headed away by an Ossett Player. Ossett got a free kick down the other end of the pitch but Wakefield managed to deal with the free kick. Wakefield looked for ways to get back into this game with a chance by Wakefield player Chrobak which was wide of the post. Wakefield on top of the game now. A goal by Wakefield by Wakefield player Millership as he managed to control the ball and take it round the Ossett keeper to make it 3-2. Another chance shortly after the second goal was saved by the Ossett keeper. Wakefield know it’s possible for a point as they kept applying pressure on Ossett. Finally, a goal for Wakefield with a second goal for Wakefield’s Millership.
