We are very pleased to announce that Nuffield Health has signed a two-year deal to feature on the back of our playing shirts! The partnership will see our Elite Football Programme players use the facilities at Nuffield Health on a daily basis.
Our Elite Football Programme offers players the chance to live in our club accommodation and train a minimum of four times a week in top class facilities with ex-professional footballers and highly qualified coaches. They will play a minimum of one game a week in our Elite Football Programme Squad and will be given opportunities to play professional academies around the UK. We also offer the opportunity for players to study for a BTEC or degree. Thanks to Nuffield, we can now add free gym membership as a further incentive.
Nuffield Health provide connected care spanning from personal training and health MOTs to supporting people on their fitness journeys, helping patients recover with physiotherapy or emotional wellbeing counselling, or providing hospital treatments for illness and serious conditions like arthritis or cancer.
Nuffield Health has a Fitness and Wellbeing Gym in Wakefield where memberships gives access to the club’s fitness and wellbeing facilities, on-site expert services, a full timetable of classes, plus access to multiple clubs across the network, personal training, regular in-depth Health MOTs and discounts on physiotherapy, health assessments, and beauty services.

Our services including a 25 metre pool, spa facilities and gym will be available 7 days per week ensuring that Wakefield AFC perform at their very best on the all-important match days.”
